Even though that midterms are in full swing, PCH is not slowing down! Make sure to keep your head up with our weekly study hours (this week's is on the hill) and relieve some stress by volunteering for the community! Check out these great general members who joined Jetrina, one of our Preventive Health directors, at one of our health sites last weekend!
Health fairs are huge quarterly events that will help out a large amount of people, especially with those without health insurance. Doctors and specialists will come out and provide service for these diverse yet underserved communities. The health fairs that PCH holds are great volunteer opportunities (it is possible to satisfy ALL of your volunteer requirement for active membership). For more information, there will be a volunteer orientation this Thursday, October 24th, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Kerckhoff State Rooms 131-135. Volunteer jobs can range from translating for our service recipients, to helping with registration papers, to measuring blood pressure, and so much more. If you would like more information, you can contact our Health Fair directors directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Good luck with midterms!
