For the second GM, PCH invited our alumni, including 2 medical students Jeremy-Ann and Jetrina, and 2 dental students, Shayma and Sheela. We first held a Q&A session for members to ask general questions. Then, we broke into small groups, each led by 1 alumnus for more specific inquiries. The panel was a success - everyone learned a lot and we definitely appreciate all 4 alumni taking time from their busy schedules to share their invaluable experiences with us!
After GM, Patricia and Matthew held Study Hours at Rieber Fireside Lounge - it was the largest group we've ever had! PCHers were productive and helped each other out with homework and study tips. Trader Joe's chips and Oreos were wonderful too! Thank you Patricia and Matthew:)
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly Festival of Philippines Arts and Culture (FPAC) at Echo Park. We held a Health Site booth to promote awareness for preventive health. Members also got to explore the entire fair that featured a plethora of cuisines, clothes, and all miscellaneous items. There were also live music and Jordan Clarkson!
Overall week 2 was phenomenal! All the events were successful because of you PCHers - Thank you all for joining us and we hope to see you again in more PCH events!
